Our bungalows at the Royal Lanta are built in the traditional Thai architectural style. Our goal is to provide our guest with maximum comfort while experiencing the Thai culture. Each bungalow is built with high ceilings with hand made ceramic tiled roofs. Ceramic tiles not only make each bungalow look apart, it is also the most effective way to keep the heat out of the bungalow. We've even built a life-size traditional Thai house as a museum for our guests to view the culture from a local Thai’s perspective. This is a resort experience you can only find in Koh Lanta, Thailand.

Swimming Pool

At Royal Lanta Resort & Spa, you can soak in the shallow tide beach of Klong Dao - the best and safest for children and beginning swimmers, or select and take advantage of our two pools.

Both swimming pools are equipped with child pool and Jacuzzi. One infinity-edged pool is located right on the beach with ocean views. The other is larger free form pool located in our tropical garden, with views of the Rainforest Mountain of Koh Lanta.

Restaurant

Located right on the beach, with breathtaking views on every side, our fine-dining hall features continental cuisine with a distinctive Thai influence. A highlight is the delectable, fresh seafood from Andaman Sea everyday.

Beach Bar

The bar is open during the day and services both the pool and beach area until late night. Built in the traditional Thai style, this quaint bar overlooks to the beach and is itself a shady oasis from the heat of the sun. Seating is provided in the form of bar stools or lounge-styled chairs.

The bar serves local and import drinks, fine wine and champagne. Sip your favorite cocktail and enjoy views of picturesque sunsets from the bar.

Sea Cow Cafe & Bakery

The Sea Cow is our resort mascot. In the mid 1990s, the Koh Lanta area was home to many sea cow families. Local fisherman started to use tighter nets to catch all the fish, so the sea cows had to relocate for other food sources. We would like to remember them as part of the Koh Lanta history. So we have designated our coffee shop in the name of the Sea Cows. At Sea Cow Coffee & Bakery, you will find the best coffee on Koh Lanta. Not only is our coffee wonderful, we also bake fresh pastries everyday for our customers to enjoy.
